Baker, Salop Antique Pruning Knife — Stag Handle

This pruning knife was made by Baker of Salop (Shropshire), England, tang-stamped "Baker Salop." The mark is documented on English cutlery as early as the 1730s–40s, and stag-handled pruning knives with this stamp and integral bolsters are generally dated to the mid-19th century or earlier by collectors.

The knife has a stag handle with integral bolsters and liners. Total length is 7 1/2 inches open, 4 1/4 inches closed.
