O'Donnell Solingen Deer Hoof Hunting Knife
A traditional European hunting knife carrying the maker's ricasso stamp, an export trademark used by Solingen cutlers on knives made for English-speaking markets. It's mounted with a genuine deer hoof handle (likely roe deer), complete with fur and dew claw, capped in horn and fitted with a ribbed nickel silver ferrule and brass guard, a classic Continental hunter's mounting.
The drop point blade carries a full-length fuller.
A well-preserved example overall.
