Original Paja Finnish Knife, Bone & Birch, Scrimshaw Sheath
This knife carries the maker's blade stamp. "Paja" is Finnish for "forge" or "smithy," a common naming element among small Finnish knifemaking workshops, and distinct from the better-known Lapin Paja Oy.
The handle is built in bone, birch, and bone sections bound with brass bands. It comes with its original leather sheath, which has a carved bone tip in traditional Sami-style scrimshaw depicting a reindeer, a church, and other pictographic motifs.
