Coursolle Thiers Brass Penknife with Corkscrew, Antique
This is a French pocket knife from Thiers, blade-marked to the maker, a Thiers house well known for brass-scaled penknives decorated with pastoral and genre engravings. The brass scales carry an engraved rural landscape scene with a standing figure and birds in flight.
Single spear-point blade paired with a corkscrew, in brass-scaled slip-joint construction. Shows its age in the metal, but remains fully functional.
