Case XX 6265 Trapper — Bone Handle

This two-blade Trapper was made by W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co., identified by the oval "Case" shield on the bolster and a "CASE XX" tang stamp consistent with Case's pre-1970 dating system, placing manufacture circa 1940–1964. Pattern 6265, the Trapper — a slender clip main blade paired with a spey blade — has been a Case staple since the 1920s, prized by collectors and users alike for its versatility.

The knife has jigged bone handle scales with nickel bolsters and brass pinned construction. Total length is 9 1/2 inches open, 5 1/4 inches closed.

The bone handles show only minimal pocket wear and remain in beautiful condition. Both blades have been sharpened and show a tight snap. A handsome, well-preserved mid-century Case Trapper.
