Case XX 6265 Trapper, Bone Handle, c.1940s, USA

This two-blade Trapper was made by W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co., identified by the oval "Case" shield on the bolster and a "CASE XX" tang stamp consistent with Case's pre-1970 dating system, placing manufacture circa 1940–1964. Pattern 6265, the Trapper, a slender clip main blade paired with a spey blade, has been a Case staple since the 1920s, prized by collectors and users alike for its versatility.
