Antique Handmade Corn Husking Knife — Forged Carbon Steel, Stag Handle, Leather Lanyard

$150.00

A handmade antique corn husking knife — a form of agricultural tool that predates industrialised farming and is today almost impossible to find in intact original condition. The dramatically curved carbon steel blade follows a sickle-like profile with the cutting edge on the inside of the curve, designed to hook under corn husks and strip them cleanly from the cob in a single motion. There is no maker's mark — this is a hand-forged piece, almost certainly made by a local blacksmith or craftsman for agricultural use.

The handle is a beautifully shaped stag antler grip, naturally curved to follow the arc of the blade, fitted with an original leather lanyard for securing the tool to the wrist during use.
