Antique Henry H. Taylor Sheffield Knife — Times Works, c. 1860–1879, Wood Handle
An antique Sheffield table/utility knife by Henry H. Taylor, Times Works, Paradise Street, Sheffield. The firm launched in 1860 as Henry H. Taylor & Brother; after the brothers dissolved their partnership in 1868, Henry continued trading solo under his own name until his death in 1879, when the firm was restyled George H. Taylor & Bro. As this blade is stamped plain "Henry H. Taylor, Times Works, Sheffield" — not the later "George H. Taylor" styling — it dates to circa 1860–1879.
The blade shows an honest patina consistent with genuine age. The wood handle is solid and secure on its single brass pin.
