C. Hughel & Co. Crucible Steel Straight Razor
This straight razor was retailed by C. Hughel & Co., billed as "Sole Agent" on the box, for a blade carrying the "Crucible Steel" trademark — a mark used industry-wide by cutlers supplying private-label blanks to American barber-supply retailers of the era. This example carries the maker's tang stamp.
The blade is carbon steel, set in cream celluloid scales. See Condition Notes below for detail.
