Imperial Stacked Leather Hunting Knife, Sheath
Imperial Knife Co. of Providence, Rhode Island produced affordable working knives for the American market through much of the 20th century. This piece is blade-etched "IMPERIAL" within a diamond, with "24 HL" on the reverse ricasso, Model 24 in Imperial's "Hunter Leather" line, dating it to roughly the late 1940s through mid-1950s.
The knife has a carbon steel clip-point blade, a stacked leather washer handle, and an aluminum pommel cap.
