Joseph Rodgers & Sons Ink Eraser / Scraper Knife, Sheffield
$40.00
This is an ink eraser/scraper knife by Joseph Rodgers & Sons of Sheffield, one of England's most celebrated cutlers and longtime holder of the Royal Warrant. Before the rubber eraser became common, tools like this small leaf-shaped blade were used to gently scrape ink mistakes off vellum or paper. The blade is stamped with the Rodgers name and Sheffield address.
A well-kept small piece with honest age to the steel.
