Antique Joseph Rodgers & Sons Knife — Victorian "Cutlers to Her Majesty," Celluloid Handle
An antique Joseph Rodgers & Sons knife, stamped with the "V ⚜ R, Cutlers to Her Majesty" mark alongside the Star and Maltese Cross trademark — the V R cipher confirms a Victorian dating, prior to 1901.
The blade retains a good profile with an honest patina consistent with genuine age. The handle is celluloid rather than bone or horn, and has a small tear near the back of the handle — shown clearly in the photos. Aside from this, the handle is solid and secure.
