French Masonic Lodge Penknife, Justice Thiers, 1920s

This is a French Masonic lodge penknife, blade-stamped with the lodge mark, registered by the "Justice" lodge in Thiers in 1924 for cutlery made for its members. The engraved nickel silver scales carry Masonic imagery on both faces, including a temple facade, a radiant Blazing Star, and a laurel wreath.

Two-blade slip-joint construction with nickel silver bolsters and liners. Wears its age honestly, and both blades still work as intended.
