This fixed blade knife was made by Kruger & Co. Ltd, blade-stamped "CAST STEEL / KRUGER & Co. LTD / MADE IN GERMANY" with a small crown mark, an unusual detail on this maker's blades. "Cast steel" was a quality designation for crucible steel, common on German and English cutlery aimed at export markets in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The knife carries a clip point blade in carbon steel, set in a black-finished wood handle with brass pins. See Condition Notes below for detail.
