Okapi Slip Joint Folding Knife, German-Made, Solingen
Okapi folding knife, stamped "OKAPI / MADE IN GERMANY" with the maker's namesake animal logo. Made in Solingen before Okapi production moved to South Africa in 1987; genuine German-made examples like this one are the collectible originals. This is a plain slip-joint knife; the ring at the back is a lanyard loop only and isn't part of a locking mechanism, unlike later ring-lock Okapi models.
