Vintage Old Hickory Kitchen Knife Pair — Ontario Knife Co., Carbon Steel, Hardwood Handles
A matched pair of vintage Old Hickory kitchen knives by Ontario Knife Company — carbon steel blades with hardwood handles secured by brass compression rivets, a design the company has produced since 1924.
The shorter knife (9.5 inches overall, 5-inch blade) shows honest surface pitting consistent with age and use. The larger knife (11.5 inches overall, 7-inch blade) has a clean blade with no pitting. Both handles are firm and secure on their rivets.
