Puma 971 Planter Lockback Knife, Rosewood
This lockback folding knife was made by Puma of Germany, the "971 Planter" model, blade-etched "PUMA GERMANY" with "SUPER KEEN CUTTING STEEL." The serial number 22072 dates production to the second quarter of 1970, and the Planter is one of the harder-to-find models in Puma's vintage lockback lineup.
The knife carries a single drop point blade in stainless steel, with solid brass bolsters and rosewood handle scales. See Condition Notes below for detail.
