This is a Wade & Butcher "Pioneer" hunting knife, made in Sheffield, England. Starting in 1918, Wade & Butcher produced close copies of Marble's popular "Ideal" pattern, sold under names including Pioneer, Manitou, and Boone. The blade carries the maker's stamp.

Close to a century old. The handle is stacked leather washers with an aluminum pommel. It comes with its original leather sheath.
