Vintage Sheffield Carving Knife — Geo. Wostenholm & Son IXL, Celluloid Handle

$55.00

A handsome vintage carving knife by Geo. Wostenholm & Son, Sheffield, England — bearing the IXL trade mark. The stainless steel blade dates this example to the 1930s or later, when Wostenholm adopted stainless for their table and carving knives.

The knife features a long, slender stainless steel blade with a graceful clip-point profile — well suited to carving and slicing. The handle is fitted celluloid in a warm ivory tone, with a nickel bolster.
